Positive: Location was great, close to Edinburgh but not too close. Lovely beaches close by for dog walks. Was originally given a very small room and with 2 dogs it would have been impossible. So I refused the room. The owner came and gave us a wonderful room it was actually a suite ! with direct access to a lovely little garden. Bed was super comfy and everything was very clean Breakfast was lovely. Choice of hot with cereal and toast buffet. Breakfast lady was lovely as was the owner. Would definitely stay here again

Negative: I understand they have recently been taken over so can understand a bit. But restaurant menu wasn't great

Positive: It was excellent, lovely big room, helpful and friendly staff (shout out to the waiters here) beautiful location, breakfast fab. Nothing to not like.

Negative: Quick journey into Berwick but if you don’t have a car the bus stop is a wee walk and buses not so frequent it seemed.

Summary: We’ll be back, that says it all!

Positive: Location great on john muir way short walk to beach and views of castle. clean and beautifully decorated.Nice breakfast huge bed well stocked tea and coffee tray; Pet friendly

Negative: No fridge in room; no welcome pack or details of wi fi in room or what facilities available; No assistance with luggage. TV control had no batteries No additional facilities for dogs ie bowls or bedding ( i brought my own)
