Positive: Absolutely loved the old weighbridge, bags of character, well thought out, and executed almost to perfection. Amazing location, lots of great scenic walks, Loughborough train station, with vintage old steam/diesel trains, literally next door.
Negative: Only afew minor issues, lots of daddy Long leg spiders in every corner, cleaning products under the kitchen sink lacking, (dregs off washing up liquid in bottle, no new cloths or sponges) Bedding & mattress topper for pull out sofa bed crammed in the cupboard. Unfortunately the whole area had a power cut in the middle of the night, which couldn't be helped, but triggered the emergency light to come on, the neighbour boiled us some water so we could have a coffee first thing.
Summary: Steaming ahead of the rest.

Positive: Such a quaint and lovely cottage set just opposite the old Ludborough train station which still sees steam trains on the line, this property is a real gem. We liked how it had been decorated and includes features such as a log burner and a nice sized TV and excellent full fibre WiFi. The walks are amazing, views stunning, and the locals are so welcoming. A true slice of history with all the modern conveniences you expect - what’s not to like! We had one small issue at the start of our stay which was resolved in under 45 minutes showing just how dedicated our host was. Seriously, no complaints.
Negative: No issues at all.
Summary: Idyllic little railway cottage in the Wolds - must stay!

Negative: we ran out of wood fairly quickly and thought more would be supplied but we had to purchase our own after the initial amount. also ran out of kindling etc but we made it work! a few cobwebs here and there - the table and chairs mainly and the beams
