Summary: The inn is situated so that you can easily explore all areas of Maui by car. We weren’t after a beach holiday but when we did want a beach day, they provided us with beach towels, umbrella and pool noodles and the beach was close to drive to. Our favourite part of our stay was having our evening glass of wine on the garden porch listening to the cicadas chirp

Summary: The ambience was lovely and we enjoyed eating the complimentary breakfast in the breakfast room. Also, the gardens were beautiful and we took advantage of the seating areas offered.

Summary: Beautifully restored building along the historic High Street. Comfortable, well appointed bedroom with patio, access to garden, sitting room with piano. Phenomenal home cooked breakfasts and lots of good Maui coffee. Parking spots are tight but they have ‘em! Covid precautions were reassuring.

Summary: My wife and I stayed at Old Wailuku Inn for a portion of our honeymoon on Maui in April. The property was gorgeous, quaint but immaculately maintained. Owners Tom & Janice bend over backwards to make sure guests have everything they need from recommendations all around the island, to beach towels, to their INCREDIBLE breakfasts served every morning. While Wailuku/Kahului is not necessarily the typical destination on Maui, there are a lot of great local places to eat nearby and the location serves as a centralized home base to explore the island. It's an easy drive to Paia (beginning of Road to Hana), Maalaea Harbor, Haleakala National Park among other things. We drove all around the island and even after visiting hotels in Wailea and Napili, concluded Wailuku Inn was the favorite part of our trip. Huge thanks to Tom & Janice! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great value with a more local feel than the huge hotels.

Summary: The Old Wailuku in is a quaint "old Hawaii" inn, safe and comfortable and convenient for day trips to our favorite beaches. It is a wonderful contrast to the big beach resorts.

Summary: Lovely property but with restrictions we didn’t get full benefit of what I suspect is great service. We saw no one short of the person who dropped off our box breakfast at our door. It was delicious but certainly not what is ‘normal’ I suspect. We weren’t sure if we were welcome to explore the areas of the inn outside our room do we didn’t get the full benefit of the atmosphere. Pricey for what we were able to enjoy.

Summary: This was a wonderful property! The room was very clean, the lanai was beautiful, the food was delicious, the staff was communicative and friendly - overall just a great stay in Maui. we used this as a home base for going to Haleakala and it worked great.

Summary: Great place to stay to be brought back in time to the housing from the 1900's home. The landscape and greenery was great. The breakfast was very delicious, fresh, and tasty. Near downtown municipal area if you need to run errands. A short drive to the airport and shopping area.
