Positive: Location was chosen because it was close to Thursford (for the Christmas celebrations) - around 10-15m which was fine. Very rural location, so peaceful, nice environment. Breakfast was very nice, double room was good, with an effective hot shower, and we were made to feel very welcome.

Negative: Thought the mattress a little soft around the edges. Not sure if that needed changing or just me... but minor quibble really.

Positive: Made to feel very welcome and hosts (Neil, Sharon and Molly) were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. When they became aware of my birthday, I was given a handpicked bouquet of flowers from the garden, carefully packaged to take home.

Negative: There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Summary: Everything was great. Super stay in a beautiful property with excellent hosts. Highly recommend 🤩

Positive: A wonderful, quintessentially English vicarage with beautiful gardens. The property although old has all the mod cons including ensuite facilities, hair dryer and a selection of drinks/kettle in the room. The owners were especially helpful and friendly.

Negative: The room is not big enough for wardrobes but does have a number of coat hangers and a rack plus a large chest of drawers. The toilets use a macerator which can be a little noisy.
