Positive: This was an amazing stay . Victoria is a brilliant hostess and chef. We were treated with such kindness and warmth that we felt totally at home almost immediately. We took advantage of Vic’s talents and hade a fabulous Italian meal on both nights of our stay. We have travelled extensively both home and abroad but this stay was unique and quite simply fabulous.

Positive: We had a very comfortable stay at the Old Thatch. The building itself is incredibly beautiful, and all the facilities were clean and well-maintained. Our host provided an awesome breakfast each morning.

Negative: Beware those with large vehicles- the quaint country roads leading to the property were a bit hairy at times, and parking was challenging. Best navigated with a small car! But everything related specifically to the stay and property was delightful.

Positive: It was uniquely charming. The host Victoria is the most wonderful host her culinary skills are exemplary. I think it was the best mushroom risotto I’ve ever had. The breakfast was equally superb.

Negative: Our electric car broke down and mini took 22 hours to recover it and provide a replacement. Victoria bent over backwards to support us , let us use her facilities way after check out, drive us to an appointment and also to get a hire car. After getting to know her so well from unforeseen circumstances we are hoping she will cater for our wedding!!!!

Positive: Absolutely fantastic overnight stay on our way to Port Issac for our Easter Break. This place is a little gem with fabulous views from both the garden and the window of a delightful double room. Lovely warm welcome on arrival with a bottle of bubbly waiting for us after a long drive. Everything about the cottage is charming but the food is incredible - Italian Cuisine at it's best. Breakfast the following morning was also incredible with the best cup of coffee I've tasted.
