Positive: Cosy living room with wood stove and TV. Bath with shower attachment. Self catering facilities, and the hosts left fresh bread, milk and a couple of other items in the fridge which was a nice touch. The location is not far off the Trans Pennine Trail which is why I picked it, and I was allowed to keep my bike in the stone flagged living room for security.

Negative: The kitchen is quite tiny, but fine for a single person and a short stopover.

Positive: Location - we were visiting the Metrodome in Barnsley for a competition and this was only a 10-15 minute drive away. The wood burning stove made it really toasty in the evening

Negative: Sofa bed but as it was only a one night stay it was fine

Positive: Peaceful and very cute. Delicious hot bath. Brown bread, strawberry jam and lurpack butter was such a treat after a long day at work.

Negative: Wi-Fi needs a boost. Minor points for improvement- bedroom needs a fold up chair and mirror at seated level. A freezer compartment with ice would have been perfect.
