Positive: Location was ideal - quiet, peaceful and rural yet still very close to all amenities and attractions. Notable for the uncommonly large and well-equipped kitchen. Friendly and obliging host!
Negative: The bed and the sofa were OK, and would be deemed more than adequate for most folk, but, as we are a little fussy about our comfort, we think both might still be improved.

Positive: We stayed at the Old Stables for 7 nights, and we didn't want to leave! Sarah, our host, was very welcoming and even left us some of their honey that is produced on site....which our 2 year old quickly snaffled! The location is perfect. It's private and feels secluded, yet it is so close to the town centre. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, and you can see the care and attention that the owner puts into it. The kitchen is well equipped and perfect for cooking meals. Bathroom shower was HOT, and towels were thick and good quality. The bed was comfortable and bedroom warm and cosy. Honestly, I couldn't fault the Old Stables. I would 100% recommend staying here. It was perfect for my little family 😄
