Negative: Unfortunately the Old Stable is small and dank, not overly clean, I left after 3 days into my 7 day holiday.

Negative: Unfortunately the pub, The 5 Pilchards was closed and had been for 9 months as was the shop and cafe. It would be nice to know this especially as we walked there

Positive: Great location, beach and near fat apples ! dryer was very useful unfortunately. Space generally well-planned..flexible check-in

Negative: We really couldn't work out where we were supposed to unpack our clothes...there could be some low drawers near the skylight and some low sliding boxes under the bed. Two of the overhead cupboards could have been cleared and cleaned for taller people...we put the toaster on high shelf and would probably put the microwave up there too ..as moving the stairs is a pain.. also quite a lot of dirt catches on both sets if runners

Positive: This small, but so well planned stable was a perfect base to explore the Lizard point. It had everything you could want, from the shower wet room, to the most comfortable bed, quirky kitchen, to comfy sofa. Just a stones throw from Porthallow beach too. There are hooks to hang wet suits, and a tumble dryer if needed. The Five Pilchards pub is just down the road for food and drink 😁 There is even a return bus once a day into Helston, such a pretty drive. There is a skylight in the roof so you can lay in bed and watch the sky. I will definitely be back!

Negative: I honestly couldn't find fault with this lovely little place!
