Positive: Amazing, beautiful house with a stunning heated pool. David and Wayne are the best hosts and really care that their guests have a good time. Great breakfasts and dinners. Use of electric bikes. This is the perfect place to stay.

Positive: Fantastic B&B / Guesthouse, run by amazing hospitable owners, David and Wayne. They made us feel at ease and at home from the moment we arrived through their warmth and hospitality. Breakfast is good and healthy, dinner provided on Saturday to Tuesday is delicate and delicious. The massage provided by Tom was amazing, we have lots of experience when it comes to massages but Tom has extraordinary skills. The surrounding area of the B&B is stunning. We will definetely come back and will recommend The Old Presbytery to anyone travelling to the area of Bordeaux/Bergerac.

Positive: We spent a wonderful week with Wayne and David this summer. After a very busy and stressful year, we piled our two (medium/large) dogs into the car and drove down. It was our first trip with dogs, and we soon realised we had stumbled upon THE perfect place for ourselves and our pooches. The property is absolutely beautiful but also comfortable and welcoming, the location is perfect for a relaxing stay, close to the town and markets but not in the thick of things. The views are to die for and the pool overlooks these wonderful typically Dordogne vistas. We loved the way that Wayne and David worked so hard to make us feel welcome and they were so relaxed with the dogs, having two of their own. The property is surrounded by plum orchards so plenty of walks, and we went to wonderful markets in Eynan and the closest towns. Wayne is full of ideas for trips, and we had a fabulous experience at the night market, and wine tasting which he had recommended. David is a fantastic cook, and we had amazing platters, fish stew and of course the pizza evening on Sunday which broke the ice with other guests perfectly. Honestly, it really feels like you are staying with friends rather than in a hotel. Wayne made fab G+Ts in the bar downstairs, there is an honesty fridge by the pool and we really appreciated the option of self-catering in their apartment. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Old Presbytery for a luxurious and totally relaxing stay- we will definitely be back!

Positive: Extra ordinary guest house, extra ordinary location and extra ordinary hosts! Amazing view on the valley and river Dordogne, a haven of peace and quiet, still close to the town of Sainte-Foy-la- Grande and its restaurants, bakeries,... David and Wayne are the most amazing hosts, who go all the way to give you the ultimate holiday feeling. Dinner prepared by David was delicious! We used the bikes for a ride along the Dordogne, walked a small part of the Compostella trail, went on a tour in a bio vineyard, visited Saint Emilion and Bordeaux. All for which we got tips from Wayne. Who, on top of everything, gave us his own musquito device after the only musquito in the house visited us at night. Needless to say we had the ultimate experience and will not hesitate to visit again if we come back to the region!
