Positive: The breakfast was well prepared, as one of us is Gluten Free plus vegetarian, the host Anne and Jonny went extra mile to prepare a lot of GF food before our arrival, and the bed is so cosy and entire place is really relaxing and enjoyable. Also we went for a walk behind where we stayed, there is a lovely walking trail and you can explore the nature walking along the river Welland. Fantastic view and very friendly host, we will definitely come back again!

Negative: The interior have a bit more small flies and mosquitoes in the kitchen and bathroom, if can provide the anti-insect spray, would be ideal specially in summer.

Summary: Superb place to unwind with spectacular view!

Positive: The property was very comfortable and tastefully furnished, and was perfectly located for us taking part in the Burghley 7 mile run. We only booked one night, and were sorry not to be staying longer. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and the selection of food and drink in the fridge, etc was excellent. We can definitely recommend The Old Nursery and would certainly go back for another stay.

Negative: Nothing not to like.

Negative: We wish we could have stayed longer! Couldn’t fault a thing!

Positive: Stayed one night as competing at Burghley Triathlon extremely early the next morning. Lovely hosts who provide a warm welcome, easily accommodating and helpful around timings with good communication well in advance of booking.Also some very considerate and muchly appreciated touches for breakfast and cold drinks! Would have loved to have spent more than the one night or some of the next day to chill out and enjoy the space but had to head home sharp. Apartment was cosy, clean and tempting me to stay another night just to get a sleep away from the stress of home. Secluded parking spot was super helpful as well.
