Summary: Had a lovely stay in this lovely old building. I only dealt with one member of staff, but she was very nice and friendly and made us feel welcome. Breakfast is also very nice. Heating wasn’t working but we were supplied with a portable heater to make the room nice and cozy. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay

Summary: Lovely quirky room in a lovely pub in a quiet location food was lovely clean room I did think the check in service could be a little more professional has we were given wrong keys to our room. The only downside was the WiFi in the room it didn’t work and you don’t get a phone signal, taxis are must if you plan to explore walking isn’t an option due to location.

Summary: This was a convenient location for the C2C. Food was not bad pub food. Accommodation in need of refurbishment which is a shame as the building has great potential. Staff friendly and accommodating.

Summary: Stayed for one night. Room was large, comfortable and very clean. In fitting with the quirky pub, very oldy worldly.

Summary: Made welcome as soon as I arrived and Pauline was an excellent hostess. Anything was no bother and even went out of her way for guests. Food was excellent and I will be back anytime I am in area. Try the Surf and Turf Fajita and the Chicken burger is a must. Rooms tidy and clean.
