Positive: We were warmly welcome by our host, we had an entire apparment just for ourselves. The location is amazing: a few steps away from the historical center, but yet quiet: definitely recommend!

Positive: Good view of and only 10 minute walk up to the castle. Good sized house with living area, kitchen and balcony. Would be ideal for larger groups who want separate rooms but to spend time together. Air-con and wifi worked well.

Negative: Our only stay in Jordan where no bottled water was provided (there were a couple of large water bottles in the kitchen, but both empty). We had to walk out to the hallway to get to our private (modern) bathroom. Fortunately for us, there were no other guests staying at the time. Shower water pressure was very weak. Only one power point in the bedroom. Host will provide breakfast (5JOD) and dinner (10JOD). I chose to have dinner (as after driving up and parking in the narrow winding road outside the house, driving back over to the main centre of Kerak wasn't very appealing), which was plentiful.

Summary: Great location if just stopping off to see the Kerak Castle.

Positive: Can't say anything bad. Very clean comfortable place. Good wifi, airco, balcony with a beautiful view and very friendly host. Bathroom is private, but outside of the room. Walking distance to the castle.

Negative: It was perfect for me.

Positive: Great location with view at the castle. The staff was very friendly. We stayed during Ramadan and were offered dinner as most places were closed- so that was a great bonus. The place is very clean and nicely decorated.

Positive: Stayed here for one night. Location is excellent if you plan to visit the castle, with it being only a 5 minute walk away. Room was clean and comfortable with access to full kitchen.

Negative: A double bed as an option would have been nice, but wouldn't stop me staying here again in the future.

Positive: The stay was excellent, the host welcomed us kindly; the weather was very cold in alkarak so he prepare a special soup for us as a welcome dish, it was very delicious. The room very clean, comfort as other people mentioned that, i like the bathroom there is every thing i need , there is heater in every room in the house in addition to AC in the room, really you feel like hoom, thank you Ashtian for this experience, we will never forget it.
