Negative: The access road. This is no reflection upon the owner, as it is council managed. The owner confirmed to us that she has complained to the local council about several very large potholes, which urgently need filling in, but to date, despite her requests, no site visit has been made.

Summary: Perfect in every way, except local authority maintenance of the access road.

Positive: Great location, and very peaceful. Host was very welcoming, with a good sense of humour. I was using as a work location and an iron would have been useful. Would have given 10/10 if there had been an iron. Lovely place, with resident ducks and history to the name ‘The Old Goat’s Barn’. Would recommend.

Positive: Met by Sue & Myles, on what was our second stay, a very warm friendly welcome with a nice welcome gift. The wi-fi has definitely been improved with a good field to run your dog in, or walk your dog down the lanes. Recommended,.
