Positive: What a gorgeous property. I remember when it was a retail unit and it has been converted so thoughtfully and beautifully. Every detail considered from plenty of throw blankets to excellent knives. Loved being opposite Walsingham Farm Shop and in such a great location for the village (was visiting on pilgrimage)

Positive: No breakfast booked. Lovely village and cosy cottage. Spotlessly clean.

Negative: We didn't take towels as they were provided but for 4 nights only 1 towel each. Lack of cupboard space. Stairs a little difficult for older people.

Summary: These points were just niggles and didn't spoil our stay. Lovely place and would recommend.

Positive: Unusual cottage but interesting. Fairly close to the coast. Nice village.

Negative: A little cold on arrival perhaps because it had not been occupied for a while. A rug at the settee would help with the cold stone floor. Shower could have been warmer.

Positive: The Old Candle Shop is situated in the most beautiful village, which has two shops and two pubs and is perfect for visiting the North Norfolk Coast. Added to that we had great weather to visit nearby places of interest.

Negative: We had a problem with the cooker, but the owners were on to it straight away and it was sorted very quickly.

Summary: Lovely cottage in the most beautiful area with everything at hand. What’s not to love !
