Summary: We were here for 3 nights for my wife’s birthday. It is beautifully decorated and well equipped although we only used the kettle! It is so close to great places to eat but still fairly quiet. The hot tub is really big and we used it twice a day. Absolute bliss. We slept well in a very comfy bed and used the log burner every night. We took our smallest car which easily went in the garage. A few minor niggles though. There was no milk in the fridge for a cuppa and no firelighters and a tiny amount of kindling. Tesco express was shut for improvements for 2 days so we had to drive to Coop - not far but the roads were really busy by then. The gauntlets supplied for the log burner were useless/dangerous but there were tongs. The main door doesn’t open and it would’ve been nice to know instead of trying it for ages. The place was generally spotless but we did get quite a few dog hairs on our clothing which surprised us. We did have a really great time and would come back.

Summary: Great place and really good location. Only reason it’s a 4 on comfort is the upstairs rooms were very hot with the weather being unseasonably warm. Managed okay with the fans but would of been difficult if any hotter! Other than that perfect location wise and facilities and would’ve definitely return!

Summary: First impressions count and this property had it all.- fabulous facilities and the wow factor. Had to be good at reversing to get the car into the enclosed yard. Display cabinet shelves a bit dusty and the wok had been left with oil in but other than these minor points the property was first class.

Summary: The house is in a perfect position just a short stroll from the High Street where there are lovely places to eat and drink. It was well equipped with anything you would possibly need and a lovely welcome pack was waiting for us when we arrived. We visited lots of lovely places every day all within an hours journey of the property. The house was beautiful and we had a hard task trying to keep our 5 year old granddaughter out of the hot tub. She loved it!!! Nice to relax in after a long day sightseeing.Although there is only one space for parking at the property, there are plenty places on the High Street. I would definitely recommend it and if we visit the Cotswolds again in the future, I woul love to stay here again. Thankyou.

Summary: We had a fabulous week in Moreton at The Old Candle Shop. The property was very well equipped and the welcome basket was superb. The beds were very comfortable and the towels were lovely and fluffy. Everything was well explained in the house and we managed to use the cooker and tv with no problems. My only slight whinges were that the drawers in the bedroom hadn’t been cleaned properly and the parking space was a bit tight. I always bring my own shampoo/conditioner/shower gel anyway but these weren’t provided at the property. We will definitely stay again and Moreton is a lovely Cotswold town.

Summary: A very comfortable high spec property in a fabulous location. The welcome pack was lovely and everything you need was provided and well thought out. Living room was extremely comfy with excellent seating for us all and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Our only minor criticisms are: No Prosecco flutes - even in the cabinet there wasn’t anything suitable No pint glasses The garden on entering the property was untidy with dead plants in pots so not a great first impression Umbrella was broken so no shade BBQ was unusable due to being filthy and not cleaned from whoever used it last
