Summary: I booked one night at the Oaksmere for my husband’s birthday and wished I had booked two! Everything from check-in to check-out was perfect. We were fortunate enough to receive a room up-grade & what a treat!! Staff , service and food was amazing. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will definitely be back.

Summary: Had a fantastic 2 nights at The Oaksmere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent food at the restaurant and really enjoyed the grounds and the play area with our 2 year old. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!

Summary: The Oaksmere is set within a lovely setting and we enjoyed walking in the grounds, around the kitchen garden, pond and more. The building is full of character with stylish modern additions. Staff overall were very friendly and made up for a disappointing start when we arrived at 9pm and had to chase around to find someone to check us in as no-one was at reception.

Summary: We stayed for 2 nights and overall had a good stay. Our main criticism is that the service was erratic. No towels in our room when we arrived and both days we pre-booked the restaurant, only to find that our bookings hadn't been recorded. We had to wait over an hour for our meal the first night as well. The second morning we couldn't have a cooked breakfast because of a power cut in the area (which obviously the hotel couldn't do anything about). Having said that, the food is very good and the beds are very comfortable.

Summary: I would definitely stay here again The staff where all very attentive. A special mention for Archie who went the extra mile to ensure we had a pleasant visit.

Summary: Room was lovely and warm. Had full sky tv, mini bar, jacuzzi bath, mini bar. Bar food was great as was breakfast. Service from the staff was exceptional.

Summary: Rooms was nice although bathroom had some mould in it. Grounds was beautiful but some areas still undergoing improvement it would seem. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok but missing items on different plates. Little pricey for what it was

Summary: excellent very pleasant staff,. Good food, well presented and served. Comfortable lounges. Attractive grounds. excellent bathroo0ms. We'd booked the lowest rated room, which was fine but with very limited wardrobe space. Only one chair, fine, but the mans clothes endedup on the floor. A valet stand might be worth a thought. Overall 8.5 out of 10.
