Like most basements in Kentucky, ours runs noticeably cooler than the rest of the home — and when the air conditioning is on, it gets even colder. This is completely normal and actually a beloved feature for some guests, but we want you to plan ahead. We recommend booking the basement for your guests who sleep best in a cool, quiet space. For anyone who runs warm, it may be the perfect retreat. For those who tend to get chilly, the upper floors will be much more comfortable.

Summary: This is our second time at this property. The layout is great and works well to have a family dinner. I like the Kitchen, and it works well for me to cook. I did like that we can still access the garage to unload our luggage and keep the car outside the garage door.My husband and I did notice that the property is getting a lot of wear and tear. The garbage disposal did not work and the handle on the kitchen faucet kept falling off. The furniture in the living room needs a GOOD cleaning or replaced. The rug under the sofa in the living room needs to be thrown away and replaced with a new one. ALL the carpet could use a good cleaning. Lots of big dark spots, especially upstairs. I think you would benefit from a twice a year cleaning of inside kitchen drawers/cabinets and bathroom vanity drawers/cabinets. The hardwood could also use a good cleaning and shine.

Summary: Though we were in town for a funeral, this VRBO made up for it! With family from Missouri, California, and North Carolina, everyone complimented my choice of where we stayed. The unit's size is deceptive - its 3 floors are long and seem to keep offering surprises with every door opened! Each floor features at least one common area with chairs and tables, and each room is equipped with a large flat-screen TV and streaming capabilities. Between the arcade games, pool table, foosball, and hot tub, we all kept saying that we'd love to be snowed in here because there is room for everyone to have their own space/privacy. Plus, the walkable neighborhood is DARLING and offers beautiful architecture, shops, dining, parks, ponds, and golf. 10/10!

Summary: 5 grandkids ages 6-18 , daughter & her spouse and grandmother and grandpapa/me. Master suite with walk in shower & jetted tub was great for us on main floor. Beds & bathrooms for all upstairs and basement. Kids loved the arcade games. Easy on street parking in front. Just needs a hand rail up the front steps for an old guy like me.

Summary: Awesome property. We stayed with a group of 8 adults. We had plenty of room to hang out together or be by ourselves. The house was well maintained. Loved the neighborhood, which had restaurants and shops within walking distance. We had one issue with the temperature of water in the basement shower. The manager responded to the concern very quickly and it was fixed within a few hours. Would definitely pick this place to stay again.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay at Norton Commons Lux! The home was absolutely perfect for our group of four—each of us had our own room, and the entire place was spotless and beautifully maintained. We had a couple of small hiccups when we arrived, but the host responded immediately and took care of everything quickly and professionally, which we really appreciated.The location is excellent—set in a lovely, walkable neighborhood with a great pizza spot and a cozy breakfast place just around the corner (we didn’t eat there this time, but it was nice knowing the options were so close). Grocery stores were also conveniently nearby. The host was great, and we truly felt at home. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town!
