Positive: The Property was very clean , well equipped to a high standard and comfortable . It is very close to Winchester Centre so everything is in walking distance .

Negative: The owner kindly provided permit parking but we were unable to park close to the property overnight . There is a public car park over the road to use when loading and unloading your car

Positive: Our experience with The Nestle House was excellent even before arrival, through Julia’s timely and detailed communications. Julia continued to be available throughout our stay for all our needs - she is a wonderful host! As for the property itself, it has all the amenities you could want for a comfortable, relaxing stay - everything is like new, and spotlessly clean. The cottage is located in the heart of Winchester, within easy walking distance from the Cathedral, the river, shops, restaurants, etc. We would definitely stay there again!

Positive: Julia is a great host, she recommended great restaurants and things to see and do. The house was decorated for Christmas with a beautiful Christmas tree. The home is very clean and comfortable. The location is great for walking into town. Definitely recommend the Nestle house.

Negative: Feel a bit “exposed” with 2 aspects of the house facing main streets. So need to keep blinds down at all times. But that’s a trade off for being centrally located.

Negative: It’s on a main road so if you are a light sleeper you may struggle with the noise of the road, our friends who we stayed with did a bit but luckily we were ok!

Positive: Julia is such a fantastic host, the house was exceptionally clean and Julia provided lots of useful information about the local area, such as places to visit, restaurants, and so on. If you need anything , Julia is very responsive and can sort out any questions or issues. The location of the house was perfect as it was so close to the town and the train station. We would definitely come back!
