Summary: Lovely little place, good food and service, only issue I had, I was in the top floor double room, and it was unbearable Hot, even with 2 fans supplied in the room, considering it was only 24 degrees outside, I didn’t sleep well at all. Other than that it’s a lovely place, I would stay again, but on colder days

Summary: Lovely room, great decor, furnishings and well equipped. Good bathroom and shower. Room spotless. Convenient location just off dual carriageway, but can hear road noise if windows open. We stayed during a heat wave, so the fan was very welcome. Good communication and can check in and check out without seeing anyone. The restaurant has a lovely waterside terrace, open for lunch and dinners apart from Mondays. Breakfast is not available at the hotel, but there is an excellent cafe and farm shop a few minutes walk away.

Summary: The shower in our room needs some work. The shower curtain was falling off the rail and there was a large black stain on the floor where water leaks onto the floor. We loved your inn and it was a beautiful setting. The pub below was a bit pricey but the food was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again and would tell our friends.

Summary: Room furnishings were high quality and we had a lovely view of the canal. The room included a fridge and fan, bed was comfy. Staff were very helpful including when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the room. The place was nicely located too next to a beautiful canal and the area was very safe. The hotel and rooms were clean with the only issue being they used light biscuit carpet which showed a few stains

Summary: Booked this room for the Army v RAF rugby match at Kingsholm and was extremely impressed by the setting, the price and service. Will be looking to book again next year for sure as it's now our "Go To" place to stay.

Summary: A lovely place to stay, right next to the canal. Room was nice, modern and spacious and the staff were very friendly and helpful Parking was easy. The only negative was that our room was right at the top of the building and the weather was 20C. There is no air conditioning and it was unbearably hot, even with the fans that were provided and the window open.
