Summary: A great little place to stay. My room was top floor and a spacious one. Had a fridge which is a good bonus. A nice garden t relax in and surroundings. Restaurant food looked good although I did not eat there. I would stay again it was a good find.

Summary: The staff are super, room spotless and great location. Mind out for the roadworks when you aarrive it can be tricky. Food in the adjoing restaurant is excellent. Ask joe for a cocktail, well worth the money!

Summary: Building works going on nearby would have been annoying if we were not just staying the night on route to somewhere. Rooms were clean but could do with some tlc especially the bathroom.

Summary: Lovely little place, good food and service, only issue I had, I was in the top floor double room, and it was unbearable Hot, even with 2 fans supplied in the room, considering it was only 24 degrees outside, I didn’t sleep well at all. Other than that it’s a lovely place, I would stay again, but on colder days

Summary: Lovely serene location near the canal and river (might get busy when the weather is good)..Lovely traditional spacious and comfortable rooms, in good clean condition. Communication before arrival excellent. We weren't able to use the spa bath as the plumbing currently needs re-doing to prevent leaks and there is no shelf to put the toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast isn't available at the restaurant currently but there is Toby Carvery or the cafe at Over Farm next door. Location is convenient with a car being close to Gloucester itself.

Summary: This place is delightful, charming and wonderful for walking. There are narrow stairs you will need to carry luggage up so be aware. Ask in the restaurant for a bottle of water. The food in the restaurant is excellent, truly exceptionally delicious. The staff were all terrific. Their outdoor space is beautifully inviting. Parking is plentiful and free of charge. There os an EV station. As for our room, it may have beem the smallest they offer. It had two twin beds and a nice window to the small road in front. The beds were comfortable. The furnishings were simple yet sufficient. There was only one chair at a small desk where the kettle and coffee maker sat. The small in room frig didn’t work and was unplugged in the cabinet but it was not necessary for us. There is some noise from other rooms and people moving about in the way of creaking floors and water noise but it wasn’t bothersome during sleeping time. Think of it as a place to sleep rather than hang out in your room. We would stay here again for all of the positives it offered.

Summary: An absolutely wonderful place to stay. Lovely staff, food, walks, the room was great. Great food and the chef came round to speak to each of us to make sure we all enjoyed our food. A really special place that we will go back to. A couple of points to make though, they do not serve breakfast and there is nobody to hand a key back to on our leave which is a bit odd otherwise very highly recommended.
