Positive: Everything! The views, the space, the room, the food. In all the hotels / B&B’s I’ve stayed at the manager here is the best. She’s taken all her years of hotel experience and knows what guests want.
Negative: Nothing.
Summary: 10/10 Brilliant

Positive: The whole guest area was really well thought out and decorated. Both my friend’s and my rooms were stunning - beautifully designed and with everything you could conceivably need. The information provided and warmth and friendliness of our hostess were outstanding. A special bonus was the fridge freezer for guest use at any time in the breakfast room. Having travelled up from Cornwall in hot weather with a cold bag with cold cores containing picnics for outdoor theatre performances, this was a godsend. It was in a glorious, very rural farming location, which we expected. Forewarned about the security gates, we encountered no problems - other than the habitual mild anxiety whilst waiting for them to open!
Negative: Only a tiny quibble - and searching for a negative here - the bath towels were very small. Why didn't you use your towelling bathrobe? my friend enquired. What bathrobe? I replied. She had two, I didn't find one! A minor oversight.
Summary: Professionally run B&B with beautiful rooms in a stunning rural location.

Positive: Beautiful location, setting and building. Staff were wonderful; welcoming, helpful and friendly. Nice retreat, good food and comfortable place with lovely personal touch/personality.
Negative: Transport links without own vehicle could cause a little difficulty, but I was okay thankfully! There are local taxi numbers on display which is helpful. If you are looking to get away from it all and the hussle and bussle, I would recommend this!
