Positive: We liked the industrial vibe. Four of us stayed in the suite and had plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable and there are three bathrooms. It's in a great location with very good restaurants. It's a great place to go for a getaway.

Negative: Bedrooms got a bit warm.

Positive: Everything was amazing! Super convenient parking, easy after hours access, clean common areas, speedy elevator, great ceiling fan over the bed, easy access plug ins by the bed, hot shower with good pressure, loved all the exposed original surfaces, VERY comfortable bed and pillows. This was one of my favorite places I’ve stayed while traveling for work in a LONG time!

Positive: The stay was an adventure. The rooms are brand new & they were comfortable with the amenities of other hotels. The location was perfect in downtown Fergus Fall, right along the river walk. This will be a fine hotel when it’s completed & a few more “customer friendly” additions are made. The Mill is full of history & that has been transformed to the new hotel.

Negative: The hotel is STILL under construction. A noxious odor of construction glue, paint & other materials filled the room & the hall. Windows do not open to alleviate some of the odors. We booked 2 nights, but could only stay 1 because of the smell. It is a CONTACTLESS hotel. Therefore there was no one around to hear our complaint. It was done all on-line. No discounts & we were given a code to enter & leave the building & our room. When we emailed our concerns to the Mill & notified them we would checkout (sent at approximately 7:30 am) by the 11:00 checkout time. At that time they IMMEDIATELY deleted our codes so we had to alternate taking our stuff to the car & putting stops in the doors so we wouldn’t get locked out of our room. Again, no one there for help or ease our concerns. A good concept but a long way from a great rating.
