Summary: Very well run establishment, helpful staff, the restaurant dinner was well above average pub standard, good choice of fish main courses. Freshly cooked eggs for breakfast made a nice change in addition to fruit and cereal. Safe parking and easy access from the M1.

Summary: Room could have done with some TLC. Bathroom a bit neglected, plaster coming off, wallpaper coming away above window in room. Shower had no pressure, didn’t work properly and hot water was hit and miss. A bit disappointed to be honest as we stayed here 10 years ago and felt it has gone downhill.
