Positive: We did not have breakfast, location is great, Not far from town, very quiet and peaceful.

Negative: Was dark walking towards the cabana, shower was cold only and it seemed to have been clogged since water accumulated on the floor while showering.

Positive: I had a good stay at the Mayan Garden. It was the perfect place to go to Lamanai which was an awesome day trip with Lamanai River tours. The guide was amazing and gave us a really informative and fun day. Lamanai is well worth the visit, accessed by boat and tucked away in the jungle. Mayan gardens breakfasts were great. The showers are hot although the temp fluctuates, they are a nice, decent hot shower.

Negative: The windows are boarded up so you can't relax and enjoy the beautiful gardens through the windows of the bungalow.

Positive: I didn't like that my booking wasn't what I wanted but the hostess he was great. He communicated throughout our stay and it turns out to be a great

Negative: It was a rainy 🌧 stay and the bathroom was too small. The entrance to the door are built for small people not a 6ft like my self

Positive: The property manager Asiel went above and beyond to help us! The room was clean, the AC was cold, and the shower was hot! The mosquito nets were not necessary as we had NO flying bug issues! We enjoyed listening to the birds and seeing lizards and leaf cutter ants. Great location for where we needed to be. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the restaurant near the front of the resort.

Negative: Since the fire last year they are still recovering, so the grounds aren't as picture perfect as the photos show! But, they are working hard to restore what was lost!! Beds are really firm, but that is the norm in Belize so I wasn't surprised

Positive: The site was beautiful and big. Its nice that they can organize tours

Negative: The site and rooms need maintenance There is no yoga studio, the restaurant in the front is very basic and not nice for vegetarians The mattress is very thin. You are in the middle of nowhere and the taxi fee to go in to town is 15/20 BZD , so around 7USD for one way. That's quite expensive for a 10Min ride.
