Summary: The entrance from parking to the rooms feels very dilapidated. Some furniture in the room is also quite worn (coffee table and some things with leather finish). we stayed in the building with the pool.

Summary: Over the top, Mansion full of history, c Great food, wonderful view of bay water. Best bread pudding ever! And what a surprise when we found our room stocked with wine, chocolates, nuts fruits cheese and cake in honor of our 52 nd anniversary, with a card! ALWAYS WANTED TO STAY THERE, M NOW I WILL RETURN EACH YEAR. Room was spacious and close to the mansion and so comfortable. If you want to feel special come here.

Summary: The food was good and the staff very friendly. The room was generally in good condition. There was no hot water when we arrived and had to be addressed by engineering. The bathroom tub did not drain properly. Hallway smelled like mildue.

Summary: Property was pretty. Main lobby was nice. But West Wing looked and felt like a motel, with unwelcoming entrance, slow elevator, and musty smell. Our room smelled like mildew and I coughed all night.

Summary: Highly recommend. From check in to check out, the service was friendly, responsive and courteous. The room was also a great surprise. Large room with a large bathroom.Well appointed with a nice balcony. Good bathroom lighting for make-up and easy for two people to get ready at the same time. Beds were heavenly! And every evening they came by with old school turn down service with chocolates. And when I checked out, there was a cookie thank you bag. Highly recommend.

Summary: very nice. Had to move rooms as the bottom floor can be musty but they did that right away. There was one lady who worked the restaurant inside and out that is a true gem. I wish I could remember her name. Was very impresed with all the staff!

Summary: The Presidential Villas at Ocean Edge have the potential to be a premiere luxury accommodation on Cape Cod. Sadly, while the property is lovely and the mansion and the villas were once spectacular, everything is in need of renovation, care, and upgrade. The carpets in the villas are musty and the buildings smell of mold. I suspect that a different flooring option this close to the water is necessary. The bathroom facilities by the ocean were either not functional (ladies room was closed requiring women to use the men's bathroom where the toilet was no longer flushing... completely overflowing and more reminiscent of a filthy outhouse than a luxury property. Staffing during Labor Day weekend was clearly an issue as well. Beach personal did not have clean towels available, told guests to go get their own chairs, said umbrellas could not be put up due to a shift change (and never came to help assist those who arrived during said change...a major reason for us staying at this property, my husband has skin cancer and sitting unexposed in the sun is not an option). Many, many guests were upset that food and drink service on the beach was either non-existent or slow. The poor servers who were working did their best, but clearly management needs to come up with a solution and help these people out. To cap it all off, this morning, maintenance came to renovate or repair the villa beside ours...at 8 am...loudly talking, banging, slamming doors. Less than perfect all the way around.
