Positive: This property is a beautiful place. The room and facilities were very clean. The pool was perfect and relaxing. Staff was always friendly.

Negative: The workout facility was kind of disappointing. Not very much in regards to equipment and machines to use. I'm also attaching my review to the Stirling Restaurant. We had the buffet breakfast one morning and was very disappointed in the food. The night before we had the Fondue special. Although the steak was very tasty, the cheese was disappointing.

Summary: I really enjoyed my stay at The Malcolm.

Positive: Amazing location next to Policeman’s creek, very modern. 5 minute walk into town. Very convenient to have underground parking to keep car secure and to just drive in and then walk straight into the hotel.

Negative: Received an email to say work was being completed on their Sister hotel so we knew what to expect. When we went to the pool to relax after a very active holiday they were completing noisy building works actually in the hotel which was a real shame when you are trying to read and relax.

Positive: Really friendly helpful staff, the heated pool and spa was great we ate at the restaurant which was fabulous. What we loved was the proximity to the town centre and easy driving to hikes and it wasn’t touristy like Banff

Negative: There was a slight leak under the toilet that allowed sewer gas to enter the bathroom.

Positive: Great place to stay in Canmore. Quiet area, stunning views of the mountains from our room- even the 3 sisters. Reception area is beautiful with a fire going. We liked that we mostly checked in on line so the actual check in was so quick and easy. Room comfortable. Asked for 2 extra robes for children and 2 extra duvets. Came in 5 mins. Lovely touch of treats on the bed for my sons birthday. Pool area was the best- felt like we were in a spa with our robes, the sunshine, the Mountain View. Wish we hadn’t bothered doing Banff upper hot springs as these top of by a million miles! Much better view! Great stay. Kids loved the free use of the pool table.
