Positive: Property was kept clean. Robes were a very nice touch.

Negative: The property was so cold due to seemingly no heating in the building. Would not recommend for a winter stay. The hotel’s response was basically to just get into bed with the heated blanket if you are cold. We found it very hard to use common spaces because of the lack of heat.

Summary: Fine for one night, but would not recommend for winter stays.

Positive: Lovely to have a shared lounge, kitchen and dining room to use- plus a good variety of cereal My room also had a settee and TV too. Plus bathrobes that were a nice touch.

Positive: Bedroom was beautifully decorated and a pleasure to stay in, it could not be faulted. But the only Bathroom/Shower was upstairs up 2 flights of stairs, impossible for anyone with a disability or aged. This Bathroom- Shower - Toilet was the only working Toilet in the Premises available to Guests - as the Toilet only Room off the Kitchen-Laundry was blocked if anyone did a poo in it - it then had to be unblocked by filling up a bucket in the Kitchen & forcing the mess down the Toilet !!!!!!.

Negative: 1. The only working Toilet-Shower-Bathroom was up a double flights of stairs, not suited to the elderly or disabled, and inconvenient to carry gear up and down.) 2. The Toilet only Room downstairs (off the Landry/Kitchen ) was unusable and blocked whenever anyone did a poo. It could only be unblocked by filling a 4 litre bucket with water, and forcing it down the toilet - was sometimes successful 3. With 2 Double B.R. downstairs, AND a 3rd Double upstairs - plus a 4 and 5 Single B.R. - we had long waiting time to access the bathroom both in mornings & evenings (8 Guests trying to using the Bathroom during our stay) 4. We had to walk with our cases from the Intercity Bus Stop at Rail Station Downtown - a distance of approx 3km to our Booking. It was mis-leading to call the Residence Downtown 5. No Host was in Residence during our stay - yet the Front Door entry codes changed each day - made it very difficult for us mature travellers. One Night about 8pm the door entry codes had been changed and we couldnt get entry - none of the other guests would respond to our calls/banging and it took an hour + before we forced a window open to get to our bedroom. 6. The un-supervised Kitchen Dining only looked clean. When closely examined plates, knives,cups, tea towels were dirty and had to be washed thoroughly by us before we could use them

Positive: I was more than happy with my stay, was warm, clean and tidy, homley. I liked the little extra such as cookies and special creamy coffee. I would deff recommend this place and will be happy to stay again. Close to where we needed to be and close to shops.

Positive: The bed was comfortable. Good kitchen dinning area.

Negative: The house was dirty. Shared bathroom, the shower was super dirty. They give you a toilet paper roll, and you have to take it with you each time you need to go to the bathroom. Weird. Room. All the light fittings and windows were dirty, full of bugs and spider webs. We found used towels in our bedroom. We needed to ask the host for fresh ones and take the used ones to the laundry. The house rules book is outdated. It says it provides you with electric blankets and bbq. We couldn't find any of those ones. Also, it says it charges you if you use the heater, but it is freezing, and we stayed in summer....
