Summary: Hotel staff were very friendly, the room was very clean, and incredibly loud. It’s an old building, which meant you could hear the guests above you (rudely at 1am…) added to the street noise (which was unbelievable even with earphones) and the AC which wasn’t efficient, it made sleeping next to impossible. Great location, but won’t be coming back.

Summary: The noise level was so bad they provided ear plugs in the room. There is no public beach access. This is not a walking area. The room was clean. Bed only ok.

Summary: Modest but simple, classic, comfortable, clean and (relatively affordable) beach and ocean facing motel with plenty of parking which is in scant supply elsewhere on this strip. Malibu Pier, beaches and park within walking distance.
