This colorful, easy-living camp has two bedrooms and a free-flowing, open layout. Breakfast bar, dining area, and fantastic lounging space with wide-open water views. Cathedral ceilings, big kitchen, modern tiled bath. Front porch, back deck, five steps and you're on the dock! Hammock, picnic table, gas grill, fire pit, wild blueberries. Sandy bottomed pond makes for great swimming. Canoe and kayaks carry you onto the 61-acre pond, where bullfrogs, turtles and curious loons are more common than motor boats.
The immediate area offers a small public beach, and a walking trail around the pond. Close by are additional hiking trails, and the antique shops, restaurants and supermarket of Cornish, which is an antique village in its own right.
A short drive northeast is the summer playground of Sebago Lake. An hour or so northwest brings you to the White Mountains, with endless hiking trails to suit any taste. Over the New Hampshire border is the resort and outlet town of North Conway.
Portland, with its famous restaurants and watering holes, is about 45 minutes away.

Summary: We had a amazing time in this cabine. It’s a cozy house in a beautiful environment. When we were there, no neighbors were here, it’s was incredibly peaceful and revitalizing. John respond really quickly and has good advice.

Summary: Lake was terrific! Loved the loons & seeing the fish and the bottom of the lake. Home had everything we needed. Appreciated the added wifi. Living room furniture is well loved. Appliances & beds are new. Is listed as a cabin & it is a very nice cabin, but includes the spider web experience of a cabin. Kitchen & bathroom were clean.

Summary: Everyone enjoyed our stay on Sandy Pond in Maine. The cabin is off the beaten path and the peace of the mornings can't be beat. The dock is perfect for fishing, and the water is great to be in and around. The cabin is well equipped and comfortable. Would recommend!

Summary: We wanted steps to the water and got exactly that! Loved the gate feature for the dock- nice surprise. Easy access to the water-steps to walk in. Clear! I haven’t swam in a lake in years until now! You can see your toes at 5ft! The sunsets were spectacular & loons, plentiful- even got to hear the coyotes nightly! The pond is just enough- not too big or small- excellent paddling. The boats provided (though we had our own and jackets ) are kept off the ground and neat and the life jackets- safe in the shed- no smelly mold like other places we’ve been. Outdoor area is very clean. The cabin itself is very clean save a few spider webs in the ceiling corners and windows- one kind of expects this on a lake but they could use a wiping down. We took care of the webs in the bedroom. I would’ve loved access to a broom to clean up after ourselves but there was only a mop. The views were great- the screens need replacing, especially in the bedroom- there were quite a few bugs/flies/mosquitoes inside. I can’t think of one item we needed in the kitchen- ample supplies! Fridge & stove were great. It’s not often you find a full sized tub/shower, good water pressure and ample hot water but we scored all three here!! The washer/dryer was also a perk! I loved the “just in case items”. Thankfully, we didn’t need any but there’s extras- repellents, sun screen & more- quite thoughtful. Mattresses need replacing as well as some seats. A spare key to the back door would be nice in an emergency.

Summary: We stayed a week in August. My husband was super excited to find that the pond was full of Bass. The water felt clean, it was super quiet at night (except for the Loons!) and we spent the time kayaking, reading, doing puzzles and games. The cabin has everything we needed.

Summary: Property exactly as described. Quiet and peaceful. Fantastic property for those with young tots! Easy sandy shallow entry to the crystal clear water. Loons, eagle, snapper, and a couple other turtles seamlessly shared the space with us. This space invites you to explore the gentle calm.

Summary: Loved walking out of bedroom in the morning and seeing the beautifu mist on the pond and the evergreens in the background went canoeing paddleboarding and swimming breakfast on the dock very clean and we'll supplied only petty complaint I forgot my cinnamon wish there was a few spices

Summary: This cabin is the perfect stop if you really want to disconnect for the weekend! The cabin was well maintained and what you’d expect. And the lake was gorgeous (our dog would not get out of the water). It’s a very secluded and quiet neighborhood, but central enough to do day trips to major cities.
