Summary: Clean environment

Summary: Room had strong smelt that it had been smoking in room,plus the people in room above was very loud,i complained to reception,they had a word with occupants,it was quiter for a while,but then continued with noise.I had to leave my room and confront some of the occupants to complain,they were standing on the stairs near my room drinking and talking loudly,this was at 2.45am.So hardly had any sleep and had to work next day,also tv didn't work properly.

Summary: Looked for a cheap overnight hotel in Middlesbrough, and found Longlands. Rooms were simple, shared toilets and showers as advertised, but clean and tidy. There was a problem with the boiler, affecting the central heating, but the receptionist provided a portable electric heater when it couldn't be sorted. Showers were electric so worked, and were nicely fitted out. I added the breakfast, which was really good value.

Summary: When I arrived at the hotel the room I had been allocated was not available so I was given a different room which was not very good
