Positive: This was the most comfortable stay weber had in wow some time. The whole place is set up perfectly with the best stocked kitchen and nicest rooms. The kitchen has a french press and moka pot which we appreciated. It also had basic spices which is rare. We were welcomed so warmly and there were fresh scones that made our day! We loved being next to the pasture and the views were spectacular, and don't worry we never had any smells waft over from the cows. This is also the first porch we were able to enjoy since so much care was taken to ensure it was free of spider webs and dust. We loved lighting the fire on a rainy lazy day at home and honestly wish we'd had more time there. Quick drive in to town for tesco or lidl and not far from perth to go get our favorite desserts from rabbit hole bakery. Lovely stay. Would absolutely recommend.

Negative: The address linked in the booking will lead you 2 miles away on a single track road. Don't go there. The Instructions are sent but don't make a lot of sense if you are not familiar with the area but the home is on a flag lot so you won't see it from the road. You have to watch for the entry marked by stone pillars that says "lochview" not the lodge as is listed on the booking. Not a big deal but if you didn't have a phone to contact the owners that van be difficult. The property management company didn't forward our time to check in info so we spent about 20 min on the porch waiting. Again, didn't matter for us as we had time. But be prepared ahead unlike us. The hosts though, are spectacular!

Positive: We loved the lodge. On arrival we enjoyed the welcome goodies. The shower was amazing. It was lovely to sit out on the decking in the evening sun.

Negative: A fence around the property would be good as we had to watch our toddler did'nt fall over the steep bank at the grass edge.

Summary: A really enjoyable stay in a beautiful location with everything we needed.
