Positive: location is lovely, really nice view out into the woods, parking is great.

Negative: place is run down and needs some tlc, hottub lid broken, needed two people to lift it back on, jets didn't work, used condom wrapper found by the bed, towel rails hanging off walls and bits of wall patched up and not painted, had to screw the sauce pan back together as the handle was about to drop off, having said this we still enjoyed ourselves, only minor details really just what we thought to ourselves .

Positive: Stunning location, beautiful little gem of a lodge, clean and well equipped. Great base for walks from the doorstep and exploring the Brecon Beacons. We are planning on returning!

Negative: The mattress in the master bedroom could do with replacing. My only real gripe was that the hot tub could have been cleaner. We never received check-in details via booking.com. This is apparently due to a glitch in how information gets shared with Sykes Cottages. Sykes are yet to return my call re: check-in. However the hosts were quick to provide these details when contacted directly.

Positive: Excellent, quiet location. Ample walks straight from the door. Nice and quiet, spacious accommodation.

Negative: Hot tub is great but could do with being spun round so you can enjoy the views whilst laid in the 'beds' as the 2 bed seats face the house. However only a minor grumble really!

Positive: location is such a beautifull peacfull part of wales. we really enjoyed the jaccuzi and eating outside in the garden. Two bedrooms upstairs with a small bathroom w toilet and sink. Downstairs a nice living room with comfy couches, good useable kitchen.

Negative: it was quite a hassle to get the entrance code. messages received via booking .com were long and sort of demanded us to register on a different website. not cool when i reserve through booking.com. it wasnt untill 22h that i received the login code via whatsapp. and that was only luck since the neighbours let me use their internet as i had no reception at the lodge. in the end we got in :)
