Positive: Host was very gracious and friendly. Good parking and the Lodge was well equipped. Lots of extras like milk, juice and eggs in the fridge. Tea, coffee and sugar available. Great views, lovely outside seating area. Dog friendly.

Negative: Shower was a little temperamental, seating area was small.

Positive: WE LIKED EVERYTHING ,Excellent host ,very comfortable cottage ,excellent facilities ,wonderful views, plenty of room in the paddock for the dog to exercise.

Positive: The host was friendly and welcoming. Property dog friendly special attention was taken to have certain things out like dog bowls, toys, bed, doggy waste disposal bags Unfortunately our dog didn't make it to the trip. It was also lovely that us humans were considered too on certain little treats and luxuries, which we definitely appreciated 😊 The garden was gorgeous, Has a bench and table, log wood fire pit, bbq and is set on a very scenic route. Fully equipped kitchen - with electric hob, grill and oven, pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, cutlery so if u like cooking, you're all good! Kitchen window faces the garden which is nice for the view Bedroom- nice size and nicely decorated with plenty of storage, tv and big bed. Has a window and a fan in case u get hot or electric heating incase you get cold. Leading from the kitchen is a laundry room- fully equipped with washing machine (was lovely to find washing capsules) and separate dryer. The whole place was very cute

Negative: The lodge was nice, but slightly smaller than anticipated. The shower room / toilet situation was rather odd as I think the toilet is too close to shower and no separation, so if u need a shower u will need to move everything out of the way so it doesn't get wet and then the floor is soaked and not easy to mop till dry. We didn't get to enjoy the sitting room as it was way too small with two very small arm chairs, but the be fair my partner is 6'5 and we both aint no size zeros lol, but still might have helped if there was a one double seater... But honestly had a lovely stay! Thank u to host for being so welcoming and accommodating

Positive: The lodge was very cosy and very well equipped, everything we needed was there and more.

Negative: The views were lovely, sadly our visit was in the winter with wet weather however in the summer it would be gorgeous. Having gone on self catering breaks before I tend to take a few essentials with me but there was no need. Washing up items and tea, coffee supplied. Lovely touch too with chocolate biscuits and milk in the fridge. Good fenced area for the dog to go in.
