Positive: This was probably the best family-friendly accommodation I've ever stayed at. We were a large group of 6 families, and we had the whole villa for ourselves: all rooms with en-suite bathrooms, huge living+dining+bar area, downstairs kitchen, multiple terraces, the back yard, a hot tub and the sports court. Practically, all hotel-standard amenities at our own discretion. The owner, Vitalie, was very helpful and always available for us, if needed.

Negative: I mostly regret staying here for only 2 nights. This location is definitely worth staying for at least a couple more days, to truly enjoy not just the surroundings, but also everything that the villa has to offer, be it in summer or winter time.

Positive: We stayed for a week in August as a family consisting of several couples and small children, and the villa was simply perfect. The spacious design is outstanding – every room is a suite with its own private bathroom, which made everything very comfortable. The common area is huge, with a large living room, a big dining table (and several smaller ones suited for work) and a bar. Outside, there is a big terrace with a BBQ, stove, smoker and area for bonfire. The terrace has a hot tub (and sauna for extra fee), lots of sun beds – and an amazing view. There is a tennis court (and mini soccer), with trampoline and playground for the kids. The facilities are excellent, the beds are big, and everything is clean.The hosts are very organized and helpful with anything you need. The location is also wonderful: it’s just a short drive from the center of Bran, but far enough from the crowds and tourist noise. Instead, you are surrounded by nature, with beautiful hiking trails just steps away, including walks along a lovely stream. Parking is available on-site. All in all, this villa was truly a great choice – both the house itself and the surroundings. Highly recommended!

Negative: The entrance is one floor above the parking lot, with stairs only. ( The owner plans to build an elevator in the near future)

Positive: Hi, It was a fabulous house, great host, excellent facilities. Best vacation ever! We will be back next year! We booked the house for 3 families including 8 children and 6 adults. The house was extremely clean and well equipped. All the rooms were comfortable and big with great mountain view. Most of the rooms includes privet balconies. The house has a privet football court for kids to play in. Very nice and pleasant host, helped us in all we asked. The kitchen is equipped with all we needed, the coffee machine was amazing.

Negative: We like everything.

Positive: Leave the city and stay in Bran and its surroundings. Bran is crowded on the weekend, but nothing compares to the experience of being surrounded by nature among mountains in a quiet and peaceful place. We booked a villa which is on a league of its own. La Nasturei (The Button) What's amazing is that she does look exactly like in the pictures. The shared stay was the highlight of our trip. Every morning we did an activity, but the children already wanted to "return to our villa". We were 8 adults and 8 children, and the Villa accomodated us perfectly. It has 6 rooms with a double bed and pull-out beds, some also with bunk beds. In each room a toilet and shower, basically perfect for large groups that want to live together. Industrial kitchen, huge living room with fully equipped bar, huge dishwasher. As if we had a boutique hotel to ourselves. The back yard has a huge patio with an oven and more facilities. Amazing mountain view to the mountain peaks, location in Poarta, just south of Bran, 6 minutes drive from the center. A huge surprise is that under the court-playground where the kids spent a lot of time, there is an amazing wooden toy factory. You can arrange a tour (free for tenants...) and it is the most wonderful souvenir we have ever bought from a vacation. It is important to know: The owner of the villa, Vitali lives on the top floor. He is very accessible and helps with everything that comes up. You actually get the two main floors and the common areas. Factory work is during the day, and does not interfere. There are no air conditioners, but Bran is much higher than Bucharest. So when it was 35 degrees Celsius in Bucharest, it was 28 in Bran and it was really pleasant.
