Positive: Breakfast was really nice. I got some seeded bread with jam and juice. I loved it. The location was honestly perfect if you have a car and don't mind a little drive to sightseeing places. My dog loved the exercise it got during our stay. There is a path on the hill close to the hotel. I didn't manage to try it out but it looked really good. The view from the window was amazing; during the day, looking at hills and mountains at night you see stars and cars passing by from time to time.

Negative: I got the first room in corridor, just after the door so everytine somebody used it, it would wake me and my dog. I did had to use earplugs because it was really disturbing my sleep as I am a light sleeper. Also, and itight sound a bit silly but the outside lights were too bright. It was honestly blinding during the night and kind of ruined looking at the stars.

Summary: 9.5/10 honestly. For the price I got it could not be any better.

Positive: The room was great as a solo traveller. Location was fantastic. The staff were great. The surrounding views were superb. The wifi was good. I prefer quiet to a busy town. Keswick was 3.5 miles away. I'd go back again Definitely.

Negative: I'm a low maintenance guest. For the price I cannot complain. You'd need a vehicle of some kind if staying there. Buses are available.
