Positive: The hosts were very welcoming, and the area is peaceful and extremely quiet, perfect for relaxation. There is plenty of space for children to play, and the house is large, clean, and welcoming, making for a very pleasant stay.

Negative: What I did not like was that some guests who bring pets do not always respect basic common sense rules. Although we all love animals, this does not mean they should be left everywhere without supervision. In particular, large dogs with long hair shed a lot, and the hair is very difficult to remove, making cleaning quite challenging for the next guests. I understand that pets are allowed and there is a fee for them, but I believe it is important that all guests respect shared spaces and take care to keep things clean for everyone’s comfort.

Positive: Absolutely everything. Beautiful location The family were some of the kindest people I’ve met. Cosy lodge with comfy beds Clean Enclosed garden Shower was incredible! Kitchen very well equipped Cows and donkeys!

Positive: Ideally placed to visit the sights of Somerset, the lodge was comfortable, clean and quiet. The hosts were great and even allowed us to see the workings of the dairy farm on which the lodge is situated.

Negative: The lodge is in a rural location no nearby shops so you need to plan ahead to make sure you don't run out of the essentials.

Summary: We had a great time at the lodge, would highly recommend.
