Positive: Lovely accommodation. Very clean, all the things you need. Friendly hosts. Stairs to mezanine are steep but we already knew that so wasn't a surprise.

Positive: The pictures do not do this lodge justice. It's a lovely lodge with quirky features and a shabby chic feel. We loved the beautiful bathroom products, thank you!

Negative: It can be a little cold so a couple of spare blankets would be good and we would advise turning the heating on before guests arrrive.

Summary: Quirky accomodation great for a family of 5 and a dog!

Positive: Really characterful accommodation nestled in a nice spot, really close to the South Downs and with good accessibility to the road network. We are a family of four (plus a dog) and found the setup was perfect and we all slept well. I imagine that this place is even nicer in the summer, as there was an outside area to sit and even a fire stack / stove too. Bryony was very friendly and hospitable. There was help on hand if needed with anything. Very helpful local information in the welcome book, left inside the cottage. Also a nice touch to have tea, coffee and milk in the fridge! I could see us having used the treatments on offer too, had our trip not been so focussed on visiting nearby family. What a great set up though, for families, couples and groups of friends alike!

Negative: A very minor and constructive comment only - the interface between Booking.com and the venue is not as seamless as it could be - all of the very friendly and helpful messages came via email, not the app - perhaps just my simple mind - but I found myself naturally returning to the app to find the info beforehand and on arrival.

Summary: A wonderful place to stay. Faultless accommodation and owners / staff.

Positive: Perfect location for attending a wedding in the local area. Bed and bedding was super comfortable. My children loft having their own little space in the loft, the steps are a little steep for small children but they managed well.

Negative: The circle window is beautiful but let’s in a lot of light in the morning. It would be nice if there is a way to cover it.

Positive: Love this place, the properties have been perfectly renovated and are fully equipped with everything we needed. We can not wait to come back.

Negative: Maybe a leaflet with instructions on how to use the appliances (oven, outside oven etc) maybe there was and I couldn’t find it. A couple of cleaning products on hand for emergencies (we had one) :(
