Positive: A lovely quite place in the middle of the countryside. Town's and good pubs/food with in 15-20 min drive , the halfway inn 10 min walk

Positive: The Bothy is clean, comfortable and well-equipped given its size. The location is the perfect balance between being immersed in the countryside and being fairly easy to get to, with Abergavenny and Monmouth a 20-minute drive away. The host, Denise, was lovely and responded to any questions we had straight away.

Negative: Unfortunately we'd booked during a cold snap, and the single heater struggled to keep the room warm given the snow outside. The shower only gave about 10 minutes of hot water before it went cold. During any other time of year we would've had the perfect stay, so this is partly on us for booking a remote bothy in the bleak midwinter, but a decent heater would've made all the difference.

Summary: Cosy remote cabin with stunning views - but a little cold!

Negative: Way to cold the heater could have been turned on before as the house never got warm. Also the tub wasn’t working and we couldn’t get an of the channels to work. Would recommend a guest guide to use the heater, microwave ect

Positive: Beautiful location. The cottage has a beautiful view on the countryside. The host left some treats for us like fresh milk and butter in the fridge as well as welsh cakes.

Positive: Beautiful location, romantic get away, natural pool to swim in.

Negative: We love this property but if you are tall, or large, or have a lot of luggage then maybe not for you as it's quite snug and not much space in the bedroom.
