Positive: The Linhay was very comfortable and cosy and well equipped for our needs. We loved the wide open views from the property and the owners were friendly and helpful.

Negative: The busy A road was quite close by, which we hadn't realised, but not noticeable once inside.

Summary: A really nice property close to coast and major towns with lovely countryside views

Negative: The kettle hadn’t been cleaned , it required de scaling. It was difficult to reach the switch to the bathroom to get the shower working. The ability to step up and down to the shower unit , also the stairs . For people with limited ability this should have be advised in the description of the property initially.

Negative: The main road leading to the property closed every night at 8pm until 6am for planned roadworks. Although obviously not the fault of the property owner the 10 mile detour to get anywhere after 8pm was a massive inconvenience. It would have been handy to know about it so I could amend my plans.

Positive: Esther was a wonderful host and was on hand to help us when we were struggling with the heating - so thoughtful to provide us with milk, tea, coffee and a cream tea on arrival - The Linhay is such a cute cottage with everything you need for a wonderful stay - stunning views of the rolling hills

Positive: Lovely cozy cottage with everything you need Bed was comfortable . Very Clean Lots of extras included tea coffee sugar washing liquid , hand wash toilet rolls.. Well equipped kitchen Towels bedding And a delicious cream tea with welcome card . Dog friendly , we had a very relaxing stay .. We will definitely return sometime soon … Thank you 😊
