Positive: Hotel is relatively new. Very friendly staff. When we made the booking, we requested for a parking slot. Upon arrival, the slots are all filled due to a family event at the hotel but the staff apparently reserved a parking slot for us so they just moved out their car and we got the reserved parking slot. Room smells so good and it was very clean. Breakfast was packed meal and not buffet style. Internet connection is good as well.

Negative: The hot water in the shower doesn't seem to work very well but this was a very minor issue for us.

Positive: We needed a place to stay in the center and this was located perfectly. They also have free parking (only for 2 cars though). The hotel looks well maintained and neat. The breakfast was great (we all had the Lucban longganisa). They also gave us a free umbrella ☺️ Staff are responsive and helpful.

Negative: We booked 2 rooms and the other one had cigarette smell after some time. Also the neighborhood can be noisy and other guests at late night. AC was turning off by itself.

Positive: The Legacy is the perfect pocket of peace in a sometimes noisy city. The rooms are petite but they are clean and comfortable and the AC/inverter is a quiet champ that cools the room quickly. Free use of Netflix was a very nice surprise. The pool is beautiful and just the right size for a cooling dip to refresh yourself after being in the Tayabas heat. Poolside shower and washrooms/CRs are clean and well-maintained. Great location in town. There’s a great laundry around the corner and also Vercie’s Salon where I get my hair and beard trimmed. The market and Buddy’s restaurant are about a 5-minute walk. I felt safe at the Legacy. I think that’s something worth noting. Always someone at the front desk and the gates are locked at night. No one gets in unnoticed or unannounced. The staff is above and beyond wonderful. Friendly and helpful always. When our scheduled driver to Manila canceled at the last minute, the front desk staff found someone for us who could take us immediately to Manila. To me, that is above and beyond. Because they helped us out like that, there is absolutely no question where I’ll stay when I’m again in Tayabas: The Legacy.

Negative: The rooms and washrooms are small and some people may take issue with that; I do not. I was not in Tayabas to stay inside and watch Netflix all day. I was at The Legacy only to shower and sleep. The pool was a lovely bonus.
