Positive: The hosts are the most thoughtful and hospitable people imaginable, they went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay and we can't praise them enough. The location is fantastic, it's a tiny walk from cafes, pubs, an M&S food hall, a sainsbury's local, waitrose, but it's absolutely silent inside the apartment despite being so close to a lively area. The kitchen had everything we needed. An uber to the castle was £9 and plenty of buses come right past. There is free onsite parking and it is linked with the Canny Man pub on the corner which serves very reasonably priced delicious food, and is a must see itself for the interior; a unique collection of antiques and curiosities.
Negative: Cannot fault the place, we will definitely be back. Big thank you to Mark and Matthew for being so kind.

Positive: Very convenient base in Morningside - easy to get into central Edinburgh on the numerous buses which stop right outside but it’s also fun to explore the area itself. We stayed in the Lane Apartment attached to The Canny Man pub - extremely well appointed, very clean and comfortable, lovely friendly staff. A real bonus is free onsite parking (although it was a little interesting at times!).
Summary: Lovely little hotel in the heart of Morningside - a gem!

Positive: Everything was great, the only thing that was noticeable was in the cleaning, there was a lot of dust and the bathroom needed a good thorough cleaning. The price was a bit high for one night, but it would be because of the dates. Otherwise it was comfortable and good location
Negative: That there was a lot of dust all over the house and the bathroom and shower made it a good cleaning.

Positive: The property was quiet. Spotless bedding with comfortable beds. Staff that we saw very friendly. Lovely food in the pub. Very convenient M&S food store very near as is the bus stop directly to the center £2.20. Unless very fit the walk into the center is a good 45 minutes up a very busy street.
Negative: It was very dark, no view other than a carpark and flats opposite. The bathroom had a very bad smell. Very limited crockery and small welcome pack containing, some tea bags, coffee sachets, sugar, milk and butter. No washing up bowl or plug for the sink. The apartment was basically clean but the furniture needs dusting under, bedside tables and tv stand. There was no air conditioning and as an older property the windows were unable to open.
Summary: Pleasant stay.

Positive: Very good apartment, helpful staff, free parking available. Next to a fantastic pub where you can get excellent breakfast ( buffet/cooked). Less than 5 minutes walking to shops/coffee shops/ transports.

Positive: The facilities and comfortable beds. Parking. The owner was responsive and immediately attended to our remark of floor not being 100% clean.
Negative: The kitchen could be a having more utensils and shower needs some place to keep the soap, shampoo etc. for it to become a perfect 10 property.
