Positive: We chose to visit the Isle of Wight without much notice, The Lakes still had availability to fit us in and was cheaper than many other places. There was a "welcome pack" including a tea towel, a tiny bottle of dishwashing liquid, a jay cloth, and a sponge. Bed linens provided. Basic kitchen crockery included. Full fridge/freezer. Lots of storage space. The caravan was warm. Easy to get to everywhere else on the island with a car.

Negative: The room wasn't clean - hair, visible dust, dirty pots and pans, the oven gloves had old food dried into the inside of them. Towels were not provided. All the activities, watersports etc weren't on because it was out of peak season and mid-week. The windows had no restrictors so were fully open or completely closed which made it very hot and stuffy or completely open to potential break in. The fire place lit up with a display fire but didn't provide any actual heat. Before, everyday during, and after leaving we got multiple messages about buying a holiday home.

Positive: The place & setting is lovely & in a great location for getting out & about. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Great amenities at the clubhouse. Our accommodation was good overall, and well equipped. The position was good.

Negative: The bathroom facilities in our superior 4 berth home were poor. In the main bedroom, the bathroom was tiny with the smallest of sinks & just a toilet. No shower. The other bathroom was a bit bigger but a very small shower space. If there were 4 people staying in the accommodation it would have been a problem.

Summary: Great place to stay, in a great location.

Positive: Lovely little park. All staff are very friendly . Good basic menu in the clubhouse. Great base and central location for exploring the island.

Negative: The sofas in the caravan let it down so dirty . Such a shame as everything else clean.

Negative: It wasn’t very clean found empty rubbish back of couches the utensils and plates were dirty bathroom not very clean and it smelt bad when we arrived .fridge wasn’t working but still on . They had put a temp fridge in the direct sunlight which took a while to get cold .also we all got bites on us . Not sure if it was fleas or mosquitos

Negative: I cleaned the green algi off the plastic railing myself when fish and chips is served in the restaurant please serve on a plate take away containers are common and cost more
