Summary: Room was fine. Room is cleaned every 3 days, which for the beach resort is unexceptable

Summary: The hotel is cool, with a beach vibe, the location is very good, and the beach is very beautiful. However, the service at this hotel is quite poor: we arrived and could not access the Wi-Fi; we had to go to the reception several times to try and sort it out. There is no room service, as we requested a water refill and it never came; we had to go to the reception to get it. The worst part of all was that upon arrival on Monday, we had already reserved the dinner that would take place on Wednesday at the beach club, as suggested by the staff member, and after confirming on Wednesday that everything was set, we arrived at dinner and our name was not on the list. The reservation had not been made in our name, and it was our wedding anniversary. At least the hostess was kind and managed to fit us in at a table, but it was a very unpleasant situation. Furthermore, at this Cabana Club, there is no service on the beach; if you want a drink or something, you have to go to the bar and struggle to be served. Regarding the hotel, the rooms are okay, but they are not very clean, and the bed is not very comfortable, besides the pillows being bad and there being no sheet, only a heavy duvet. It's a shame; the hotel has a cool concept, but the service does not live up to it.

Summary: Everything was amazing about The Kontiki Resort. No complaints, Gianni was our house keeper and she was the best and on top of everything in our room. We will be back!!!

Summary: While I loved this resort here are my pros and cons. PROS •Beautiful grounds and beach •Restaurants are near by and walkable on Mambo Beach •Staff was friendly and helpful •Clean rooms CONS •No washcloths in Superior room •No real ventilation in the bathroom in superior room only if you open the window •Bedding could be better(it is 2 twin beds put together to make a king and only a flat sheet no fitted sheet or mattress pad)

Summary: I loved my stay at the Kontiki beach resort. Stayed on the non-luxury side and it was beautiful. The landscape, pathways and pools are beautiful, relaxing and private. My only warning to other guests would be that on certain nights of the week that you won’t really know about in advance, you can hear very loud music from the bars on the beach and it goes till about 12 AM to 1 AM. Older than that, this resort really is beautifully appointed… The beach area and restaurants are photo worthy

Summary: Beach was beautiful and the food was really good. Staff were very friendly. It did get loud at night on the weekend but it didn’t bother me too much. The AC in the room however didn’t work that well. Some nights were hotter than others but I dealt with it. Overall great experience would definitely recommend to others to visit
