Negative: I specifically booked a deluxe bedroom in the hotel on booking.com. Despite paying for my bedroom prior to arrival we were placed in a lodge for the night which I did not book. I found the hotel had clearly overbooked which led to me and my partner being put up on a lodge while another guest stayed in the hotel

Positive: The dinner in Salt and Fire was really good. Beds and bedding were comfortable.
Negative: A new placement for the toaster in the morning would be recommended. It was causing a hold up at the hot food counter. Really bad location.

Positive: Had a lovely one night stay here. We arrived late in the evening so it was quite dark outside. We were greeted by a nice warm fire and friendly staff who got us checked in very efficiently. The room was lovely, and met the expectations from the description provided. The amenities provided were great with plenty of tea, coffee and a couple of biscuits. Breakfast the following morning was brilliant, with a great selection of hot and cold items and a good variety for various dietary requirements. Location is great, very quiet grounds to explore and handy to get to!

Positive: We had an absolutely wonderful stay here with my friends! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The room was beautiful, and the beds were super comfortable—we slept so well. We also thoroughly enjoyed the spa, which was the ultimate way to relax. We are completely satisfied with our experience and will definitely be coming back again!
Negative: Great stay overall! For a hotel of such high standard, the breakfast felt a bit basic, but everything else was excellent.
