Positive: I loved Jenny Wrennery as soon as I arrived. It is so private and in the middle of the countryside with sheep at the bottom of the garden. Superbly comfortable and easy to travel around the area from this base. So many things to see nearby.

Negative: I have to admit to missing a microwave. I cook for myself alone but don't like to eat immediately after preparing. I like to bring food that is easy to cook and heat up vegetables at the last minute. It wasn't easy manoeuvring pans on a single electric ring.

Summary: Extremely comfortable, private and a perfect location.

Positive: The property is extremely romantic, comes fully furnished even with normal day to day amenities which is extremely useful. The owners of the property were super friendly and helpful in all aspects.

Negative: The property does not have a washing machine/dryer. Make sure to pack clothes for the entirety of your stay; which we did thankfully.

Summary: Absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended.

Positive: It was in the detail - the fresh eggs, the sourdough bread, the milk in a bottle in the fridge, everything you needed to light the fire, the heated blanket on the bed, the soft, fluffy white towels and the Emma Bridgewater cups, plates, bowls and trays. Not that I used them on my own, but there was a really nice selection of board games too. I am sure there are things I have forgotten… for me it was a little home away from home.

Negative: There was nothing that I disliked.

Summary: Gorgeous! A place owned by a family, who have gone above and beyond to make your stay special

Positive: Beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Had everything you need for a peaceful stay.

Negative: It’s not something I didn’t like but the only thing that could perhaps be an improvement would be a curtain in the bedroom. I think it’s unnecessary but my husband would have liked one
