Summary: This inn is gorgeous, from the property to the wrap-around porch to the massive gourmet kitchen to the super comfortable bedrooms. Overall everything is furnished beautifully. There is a fantastic sound system in the house. Just about everything you'd want to make the stay comfortable is there. A few nit-picky things of note that most wouldn't give much thought to, but if you are super detailed you may. The outdoor furniture isn't that well cared for, as nice as it is. At this price point, cushions should be stored and not left out to get stained or dirty. The kitchen could have some more equipment for serious cooks (one small cutting board was a challenge with 6 folks cooking dinner). And as other reviews mentioned, the traffic from the nearby road is noisy. But otherwise, I'd recommend this property whole heartedly. And the group I was with is not easy to please- everyone left feeling like they had a wonderful vacation.

Summary: We just returned from The Ink House - what an amazing weekend! The home is beautifully furnished and has lovely amenities. There are a variety of sitting areas and tons of space to spread out. The location is perfect for your group to go winetasting or head into St. Helena for fun. Ellen, the house manager, is absolutely darling! She is so insightful and full of suggestions and options to make your stay perfect! The ONLY drawback about our stay is that the property sits right on I-29, so you do get traffic noise during the night and can't really open windows while sleeping for fresh air because of it. Nonetheless, we look forward to returning to The Ink House - enjoying everything it has to offer! We loved it!!

Summary: There are not enough words to describe stay at this property. We had an absolute amazing time. They were 4 couples in the house. The house and property were amazing! Several of the wineries we visited were in walking distance of the home. It was a spacious home with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious luxuriously appointed. The grounds of the property were also meticulously groomed. The vineyards next door made us feel like we were in our own little slice of paradise. The 3rd floor loft with its 360 degree views, was a perfect place for a morning coffee. We can’t say enough about the house manager Ellen, who was extremely helpful and accommodating in enjoying our stay. We can’t wait to come back!!
