Positive: It was dated but very clean and the bed was comfortable.

Negative: the slamming doors. but I think those self close mechanisms are same in all hotels. cold shower which was fine at the end of a hot day.

Negative: But no shower gel or shampoo and I hadn't any with me. Annoying as after checking this has been mentioned a few times (otherwise a 9).

Positive: Nice room and biscoff biscuits but why only l cup in a 2 person room. Fan in room

Negative: On arrival door was locked , didnt open till 3 pm 😑 l will just remember that next time. Will stay again but only for 1 or 2 nights.

Positive: Lovely park and gardens 2 minute walk from hotel. Quiet neighbourhood. Easy walk into town. Well placed for train station.

Negative: Hotel in needed redecorating. Broken tiles in bathroom. Very poor plumbing - the age of the building is no excuse.

Summary: The hotel was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the housekeeper was excellent.
