Positive: The staff member was very friendly on arrival. The location is very convenient if you want to stay in Leighton Buzzard, but also due to its very close proximity to the main rail line, it's also very convenient for Milton Keynes and even London, which is only about 45 minutes on the train. The room was nice, if a little dated, but you expect that from a Victorian property of this age. The room was very warm as well, which was appreciated as we stayed in February. The price represents very good value for money when compared to other hotels in the area.

Negative: I found the bed mattress to be less comfortable than I would have liked, though I still had a good night's sleep. The shower was quite tricky to get to a comfortable temperature, due to it being fed from the mixer taps in the bath rather than being a separate, thermostatically controlled electric shower. It was still functional though. I was surprised that shower gel wasn't provided, as every other hotel I have stayed at does provide shower gel, shampoo or a combined product. Again, this wasn't an issue for us as we did bring our own toiletries with us.

Positive: Staff very friendly and cheery. I always stay here when in the area, highly recommend. Rooms always cleaned well and tidied and the location is brilliant very close to transport links

Negative: There isnt anything I ever dislike when staying here

Positive: Close to the town centre for food. Plenty of parking. Decent price.

Negative: Quite cold in the room, heating wasn't up to much. Took ages to get hot water.
