Summary: Good pub style hotel with a comfortable bed! A bit dated inside the rooms but adequate. Plenty of hot water and free WiFi. Parking is a little tricky due to it’s location.

Summary: Lovely room and staff very friendly and attentive. Nice breakfast included too. Wouldn't stay again as we couldn't sleep until 1am at least each night as we could hear everything from the bar and then guests above us once they moved upstairs.

Summary: I had an excellent stay at The Horse Inn. The host was very welcoming, and the room was clean and tastefully furnished. My only criticism was that it could have been warmer, and there was no plug to the sink. The breakfasts were superb.

Summary: Excellent main chef, very good evening meal for ourself and a few friends. Helpful and friendly staff. Main complaint is that of poor housekeeping in the room, lack of effective checking that all is as it should be. Our room and bed was not made up on the second day. We mentioned this to the The Horse management and they agreed standard was not right, they offered a complementary bottle of wine. Looks like they outsource room cleaning and they are not up to an acceptable standard. Probably won’t stay there again. Sad, because they are nice people.

Summary: The room was clean and comfortable, the pub and village were gorgeous. The room is directly over the bar though and had loud music till well after midnight. I only went to bed then, so it wasn’t an issue for me, but it might be for others.
