Built by settlers in 1906 and representative of Orcas Island history, this coastal classic is centrally located in Eastsound Village. Equally appealing as a romantic get-away or gathering of family and friends, this is the perfect sanctuary from which to launch your island explorations. There’s plenty of room to spread out, with a central great room (kitchen/dining/living room), large deck, slate patio, hot tub and outdoor gazebo with fire pit. Bedrooms include king bed on the main floor, three queen beds upstairs, and two twin daybeds as well. Primary bedroom overlooks the gorgeous view through twin dormers. Fully equipped gourmet kitchen, three flatscreen TV's, high speed internet, gas barbecue, and several desk areas for keeping up on your computer work. In the evenings enjoy a drink in the sea-born breeze, listen to waves on the shore below, and watch the abundant wildlife around Indian Island.

Summary: This house is perfect. Had everything we needed from everything for cooking/eating to laundry detergent. It’s right in town so you can walk everywhere but it’s also quiet. Can’t wait to stay again!

Summary: Best in town location on Orcas. Views of the sound were unbelievable. You can walk to town and the grocery store in minutes. The house had great seating and dining options. The outdoor fire pit area was a great gathering place. The place is great for 2 couples. We were a family of 8 which was awkward with the 2 bathrooms since one was located within one of the bedrooms. Also the first floor bedroom, which is very comfortable, is ready for an upgrade on mattress and pillows. All that being said, we rebooked for 2025!

Summary: Beautiful house in a perfect location. Walking distance to bookstore, coffee, bakery, beach, grocery store. We launched our kayaks from the boat dock down the street. We did lots of cooking and baking - the kitchen has everything you need.
