Summary: Preserving historic hotels is always a win; but the Holland is due for room updates past the current bar-restaurant-lounge area renovations. Rooms were minimally serviced an d cleaned and staff was hard to find even during the day. Carpet was old, stained and dingy, lamp shades stained, thick dust build up on baseboards and door jams, tub grout mildewed and hardware caked with hard water debris.

Summary: Built in 1928 I thought I would have been staying in a rustic but comfortable hotel. However there is no restaurant, I couldn't get a cup of coffee downstairs in the morning, the bar was shut down, the rooms are gray and murky, only 1 usable wall outlet and it was on the far side so I had to plug my phone in on the other side of the room, on the floor. The hotel could be refurbished to modern standards yet keep its history.

Summary: The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and quaint. If you are used to air conditioning, the rooms are cool, each room have individual units. Cooling can be inconsistent. Parking is very limited. Restaurant is closed and no swimming pool. There is a cute courtyard to enjoy your morning coffee. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will come back.

Summary: Easy and friendly check in. Feels more like a hybrid fact/hotel hybrid. Rooms were clean and dining area/check in was clean. Wish this had more and hope the area around gets rebuilt to bring more dining options that complement the hotel. The service portion is there- very friendly. Hope century bar and grill or a breakfast location opens nearby.

Summary: The lobby was beautiful, but our room was old and outdated, the ceiling fan was covered in dust, would not turn it on, allergic to dust, mold, etc. there was dust piled up on the side of the dresser, we left a day early, and no refund .

Summary: The history behind the hotel and the beauty in keeping the historical features intact are what drew me to this property. The town is small so parking wasn’t a problem. Coffee & pastries were promised for breakfast however after getting up early to get some I was told they were out. This was at 6:30am. I asked if they would be getting anymore and was told no.
