Positive: Friendly staff, very comfortable bed and nice room. Quiet location. Only things i would suggest - Update the shower and change the wobbly toilet seat :) and get the cobwebs down the side of the wardrobe! But other than those little things, I would happily stay again. Thank you

Negative: Wobbly toilet seat. Shower was a little awkward as the shower head wouldn't stay up sometimes. Cobwebs down the side of the wardrobe.

Positive: It was a lovely cosy room and everything we needed was supplied including tea, coffee and toiletries. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The location was peaceful with lovely walks from the door. We stayed their for a wedding nearby but would love to stay there again and explore the local area.

Negative: The bathroom was a bit musty and we felt it needed a good airing. There was also no hot water in the sink but the shower was fine and to be honest we didn't report the hot water situation until just before we left. The staff were lovely and we're sure they would have sorted it out straightway had we asked them.

Positive: Very cute place. Not too big which was nice as it was easy to get everywhere. Staff were so lovely and polite and helpful and we felt we had a lovely stay here.

Positive: A little gem of a place . Great for exploring Newmarket and Cambridge . We were close to visit the British Racing School, National Stud and the Newmarket Race track to enjoy the Newmarket Plate racing day . Sid and the team gave us a very warm welcome and looked after us throughout the duration of our mini break . So kind and helpful . The evening meals and breakfasts were well presented , delicious and excellent value for money . A lot of local produce which we thoroughly enjoyed .

Summary: A little gem of a place . With the most helpful and courteous staff- we will be back ..

Positive: It was quaint. I couldn't have got in and out of the freestanding bath. The shower was good, though. The food was excellent, especially the curry. The staff were quiet and polite, very helpful in making a packed lunch as we had to leave before breakfast. Fresh water and toiletries are replaced every day. Easy access to public transport into Alderhay hospital hub and then on to Cambridge. Good that there were two rooms in one if you had a need for separate beds.

Negative: Electric sockets were few and placed very low and out of the way. I couldn't plug a hairdryer in and have access to a mirror. There was no shaver socket and no working adaptor available when I asked the staff. No aircon, so rooms were a bit warm and airless overnight as it was very warm.
